CODE Function

The CODE function in excel is used to return the ANSI code of the given character or the first character of the given text.
ANSI (American National Standards Institute) is similar to ASCII, but has 256 characters. It includes foreign characters, special punctuation and business symbols.

Formula:

=CODE(Text)
Whereas "Text" is the content which has to return the ANSI value.
Note: Find the numbers up to 255 and its equivalent ANSI values in the below table.
