What is a Cal_info Function?
How does a Cal_info Function Work?

Explanation

This function is used to get all information about a calendar.

Syntax:

    array cal_info  ([ int $calendar= -1  ] )

Calander information is returned in an array format.It contains the elements calname, calsymbol, month, abbrevmonth and maxdaysinmonth.The names of the different calendars which can be used are follows:

    - cal_info (0)or CAL_GREGORIAN - Gregorian Calendar
    - cal_info (1)or CAL_JULIAN    - Julian Calendar
    - cal_info (2)or CAL_JEWISH    - Jewish Calendar
    - cal_info (3)or CAL_FRENCH    - French Revolutionary Calendar

If no calendar is selected cal_info will list information about all calendars.

Example:

    $info = cal_info(0);
    print_r($info);
    ?>

Result:

In the example the Gregorian calander is selected for display.
